Princess Eat no Meat, Native American Umatilla woman. She wears a beaded belt, a blanket over her left shoulder, a print shirt, necklaces, a choker, braids, and earrings. She was from the Umatilla tribe in northwestern Oregon. Circa 1900. A Sahaptin-speaking tribe that traditionally inhabited the Columbia Plateau region of the northwestern United States, along the Umatilla and Columbia rivers.
Coffee/tea mug. White stoneware clay, Shino glaze on outside with photo image that was kiln fired to embed the decoration into the molten glaze. Will not discolor or fade. 10oz, 4.2.5”H x 3.25”W diameter, dishwasher and food safe.
